The Golden Fleece Spinners’ Society is dedicated to learning, sharing and exploring the art and craft of hand spinning.   We invite you to join our friendly, supportive group.


  • 10:00 - 2:00 on the third Saturday of the month (please check the calendar for exact dates)
  • Grace Episcopal Church located at 110 Oswego St, Baldwinsville, NY (due to COVID-19, meetings through December 2020 will be held either outside at Onondaga Lake Park or virtually.  We will reassess the situation in January 2021.)

Society History

The first meeting of the society was held on March 15, 1980 in Baldwinsville, New York.  The organization was known as the “No Name Guild” until October of 1980 when the “The Golden Fleece Spinners’ Society” name was adopted.
